Second snow of winter!

Finally today, after much unsuccesful forecasting by the weather people, it has finally snowed!!! This is quite different from Syracuse where there was much unsuccesful forecasting that it would NOT snow... so now that we don't have it, we all want it and have definitely enjoyed it today!
This is our new house (we have lived here for a whole month now!), covered in snow. Isn't it a pretty house? We LOVE it!

Caroline, Sarah and Hannah were working a snow creation this afternoon:

Here is the finshed project. She is a snow woman complete with snow arms, snow hair and a snow skirt.

Here is George, the other snow person, built by Elizabeth and Abel. He is gazing up at the beautiful snow woman on the porch.

A close up of George--

Our house has become the neighborhood gathering spot for neighbors. Today we had 5 or 6 neighbor kids over.

They had fun building forts.

Sarah and Hannah came in to relax by the cozy, warm fire.

Just for contrast, a week ago it was 50 degrees and raining but we decided to be brave and go skiing/snowboarding at Bryce mountain. This picture was taken after the afternoon of skiing. Note the wet pants, hair. It was pretty miserable.

YAY for SNOW!!!!!

Brian wants me to tell you that the snow people are awesome! We wish we could have snow too. It doesn't even get forecast here ever really. Also, wish we were in your neighborhood, would come play every day. much love sarah and brian.

I love the new look! You all had so much fun together and what talent for snow people. I know my boys would be so excited to have fourteen Green's living nearby and I would be thrilled to have my Peruvian daughter around too!

Much love to your precious family!

What fun it would be to have you all as neighbors! Brian & I would totally be out there playing in the snow with you (even though we may be the only adults - we haven't really grown up yet!). Caroline - I love the new look of the Blog... it's quite professional! It's always great to read your updates. I'm off to send you a quick e-mail now.
Love & hugs - Susan
