Cake Decorating Lessons

We learned how to cake-decorate! Our friend, Mrs. Earl, came over to our house 3 different days to teach us. These pictures are from our last lesson, where we made a cake. At the bottom of this post are some other cakes that we've made since then.

The Cruise to Alaska

Mom and Dad took a trip to Alaska this summer with Focus on the Family; it was the second cruise that Focus put on.

Dad in Sitka, a sleepy little town with no attractions. And it was raining. Dad decided to make a telephone call in an overgrown mossy telephone booth that hadn't worked for 20 years.
